General Motors used various assembly plants. The car was assembled at plants located in:
- Norwood, Ohio (including all Canadian F-body cars - about 75%)
- Van Nuys, California - about 25%
- a few thousand Camaros were built overseas (the exact number is being researched)
- GM Continental in Belgium, currently being researched by Camaro Research Group©
